It also analyzes US FEMA P-2090 / NIST SP-1254, issued in 2021, and related measures in Japan. Characteristic aspects of the FEMA P-2090 / NIST SP-1254 include the development of a common framework and measures regarding recovery-based objectives and design standards for buildings and related lifeline infrastructure. It also describes the development of alternative standards for temporary habitability and the incorporation of recovery-based objectives into the planning of various stakeholders.
